Chemical Peeling

Chemical peeling is a popular, non-surgical procedure that uses a chemical solution to improve the texture of the facial skin and it is helpful for those men or women with facial blemishes or wrinkles or even to freshen up a tired face.

The whole process relates to removing the skin's damaged layers making it smoother and fresher looking.

TCA peeling

Every individual is different and the doctor will make the decision during your consultation as to the concentration of the solution.

The treatment takes place at the practice and the Doctor will apply the right solution to your facial skin with a cotton or cotton made pencil.

(AHA) solution is used for superficial peeling, whereas TCA (trichloroacetic acid) is more effective and used to provide better results.

Advantages of TCA

It is considered more effective in darker skin and is mainly used for deep-depth peeling reflecting the concentration of solution used.

Disadvantages of TCA

Sometimes, the Doctor may require to pre-treat the skin with a pre-peeling cream in order to reduce pigmentation reaction. Regular peeling treatments are required to maintain the new fresher look and you should be able to return to work after 3-4 days.
